My first hand gun was an XD 45.
My second hand gun was an HK USP Compact in 9mm. My third was a Glock 19 Care to guess which one got sold? The HK. No matter how much I shot it, I just couldn't shoot it as well as the Glock or the XD. I almost sold the XD. Yesterday, I shot the XD again. I definately would have regretted selling it. The HK, I don't miss it. Good gun, just not for me. |

I disagree with the idea of selling your XDs (unless you are selling to me cheap or something like that in which case I am all for it.
But seriously, with the very real chance that Obama and a lot of democrats will be elected next year, now is not the time to be getting rid of fine semi-auto pistols like the XDs (or HKs). Now is the time to be stocking up on mags and such. Chapie+ |

I did the opposite. I had an HK45C SS before I bought my XD45. I liked how how the HK shot, BUT it was a PITA to carry. I preferred the narrower profile of the XD45, so I ended up selling the HK. I also prefered to carry 13 +1 over 8 +1.

I've already got a HK45C, and do love the way it shoots.
After much deliberation though, I cannot bring myself to getting rid of my XDs... I shoot way too good with them. So, instead, I picked up a "pocket" gun last night, a Kel-Tec PF-9, and I think I'm going to get a H&K P7 that my local gun shop has used.

+1 the P2000 feels worse than a Block in my hand. that said, HK is awesome and if it works for you go with it. also, on the P30, i think that is the best feeling gun i have ever held.
