My son is 9 and LOVES the Charger.Ive never seen him so excited about shooting before.He has shot my Winchester 22 rifle before but he is in love with this Ruger.The look on his face when he hits a soda can at 50 yards is priceless.My daughter is 11 and not so interested in shooting as of now but that will change,she may not want to shoot but she will learn gun saftey.Anyway thought Id share.

I think a charger would put a smile on my face too. It looks like a fun gun to target practice with.
