Where do you CZ addicts get your parts fix?
Hi Everyone,
I recently picked up a CZ-85 (I'm a lefty) and I love it. The first time I took it to the range I was amazed how accurate it was. I couldn't believe I was the one pulling the trigger. The only problem was the 16 round mag it came with is a piece of poop. The 10 rounder works great... I was looking to pick up the following: New 16 round Mec-Gar mags A Wolff spring for the 16 round mag that came with the gun. A straight mag brake Possibly OEM grips (it came with a hogue which I thought was going to be too big but has since grown on me.) Czcustom.com didn't have mec-gar mags and the ones they do stock are almost $40 each! The Wolff springs are only available in 3 packs. Pistol Gear only has Dan's guide rods. Top Gun Supply had Mec Gar mags for around $20 but they are out of stock. The only grips available were the Hogue version I already own. Brownell's website is aweful... CZ-USA's website is non-existant. Midway looked like they had everything except the magazine brake but I had to do some digging. The prices are decent. Mec-Gar mags for $24. I'll probably pick up some grips and the Wolff spring from them the next time I place an order. I ended up picking up two Mec-Gar mags from outdoorsportsdepot.com for $18.37 each plus $11 shipping. I thought that was a pretty good deal but they didn't have any of the other stuff I wanted. ** EDIT: Outdoorsportsdepot.com just sent me an email saying the mags are on back order. ** These guns seem incredibly popular. I can't beleive it's so hard to find parts for them. Am I just missing something? Last edited by Blind Bat : 06-04-2008 at 04:21 PM. |

Thanks for the heads up. Although, it looks like Ghost Holster and CZCustom.com are the same site...
Psst... Pistol Gear & Top Gun... CZ's rock, you should stock more parts for them! |
