I was cleaning out my late grandfathers basement and discovered an unopened box of 10 M1 Carbine barrels! I have no idea what these might be worth in general or where to go with them

My grandfather was one of the local gunsmiths in Shamokin, PA for quite some time. These were probably acquired through trade many years ago and forgotten about. Any help on possible value or where to go with them? Thanks.

Skip gunbroker. Make that the back-up option

Make about a zillion posts or whatever it takes to up your post count.

Hell respond to yourself

(there's a minimum before you can list in that section), and then list them in the trading section of XDTALK. Find an FFL in your area to complete your half of the transfer and I'll bet you can sell them all to board members.

As for a fair price,
Ballpark them at GunBroker, but list them here, FIRST

I wonder if a builder like Fulton Armory would offer a good price for them too? The only problem is they would want to make a profit too so they would consider that in their offer. but they certainly build and rebuild all the old military rifles as a specialty.

Hey! Maybe you could ask for a trade. Ask to get a newly built M1 or AR from Fulton Armory and they keep the other 9 barrels

You need an FFL to sell barrels? Is this an M1 thing? I thought you only needed an FFL/NICS check for receivers?
