You have my condolences, a poor interpretation of the original 550.

Nice I have a hard time picking three out of my collection.

I guess it would be:

Sig 30-06 light tactical Rifle

xd45 (Ignore the Chrome AK)

Bushmaster XM-15 (now with quadrails and reddot need a new pic)

Picking my top three is really hard. Here goes:

My 1955 correct grade SA M1 Garand:

My Bushmaster 20" AR, (ignore the RRA mid-length above it):

And my GP-100:

Can you explain a little? I'm curious and haven't researched much...but since the bushada is being pushed back to '09, I'm considering these.

Theyre good rifles... Only real "issues" people have had are that theyre front-heavy (which I personally like, especially when shooting from unsupported positions, YMMV) and that when you put an EOTech on top, it can be difficult to easily manipulate the charging handle. Its not the civilian-ized Sig 551 that I think a lot of people were expecting, but its not a bad firearm.

I'd love to have one with some 551 handguards, but its not quite on my short list...

It is a bad cross between the 550 and the AR-15 no reason for them to do that to a rifle that some folks were willing to spend several thousand dollars on. The early ones had some terrible quality issues, my favorite was the top rail being on crooked .
