New Remington 700 Police
Well I broke down and picked up one with a Mk IV 40mm 4 - 14x Leopold scope to mount on it.
I am planning on the break in suggested by the US Army for their M24s and then I am going to get a serious cold bore zero. First I am going to pull the reciever and make sure there isn't any packing material still on the bedding, then torque it all down to spec. I have ordered a case of Federal match ammo so I get the same lot and could save some cash. I am really excited and I have a desire to paint this thing. First, anyone have any suggestions for the new rifle? Second, anyone have any good pictures or suggestions for cammo for the WV area? I am thinking a dark brown or tan with dark green foliage on it, or dark green with medium green foliage on it. |
