Picked up my M&P 45 today (Pictures)

For the last few months I was convinced I needed an XD45. Held one in my hand, felt good, everything was set. Then I held the M&P and it felt so much better I had to have it.. and now I do.

Nice gun. I've bought one or two based only on how they felt. Let us know how it shoots.

The photoshopped one ... Who's the naked person in the background

That a manual safety there? Does this 45 have a shorter barrel than the regular M&P 45?

Yeah that's a manual safety, looks like the midsize as opposed to the original M&P45...

Yes, it is the midsize model with a 4" barrel and the manual safety. The safety will soon be coming off of the right side so I can add a Crimson Trace laser grip.

Well, daaaaaayummm, I think I may have found another .45 to get... Does the M&P with the safety also come with the longer barrel too? Either way, me likey. 10+1 rounds, right?

You can get either model with the safety. The full size and the midsize both have 10+1 capacity. They are both also available in a Dark Earth color (the DE models all have a thumb safety). The compact 45 is due out soon, and will also have the option of a thumb safety and 8+1 capacity.
