Some pics of the GSG-5

Thought I'd post some pics of my GSG-5, since installing the Classic Army A173M collapsible stock. I can't wait to go shoot this thing! It'll be nice to go to the range and blow through .22LR, without worrying about my bank account taking a huge hit. Anyhow, here it is:

for comparison, the OEM stock:

The "can" is really a barrel shroud. It screws in to the front sight base, and is also held on with a set screw. I may make an SBR out of it one day, and get a real can to put on it. Right now, I like it just fine.

Is that retractable stock fairly solid when fully extended? Are the side prongs metal? It looks like it fits tighter with no gap between the receiver and stock. I heard that if you yank the retractable stock back hard, the side prongs pull off the gun in your hand because there is no last stop. I am debating whether to get this or the folding stock.

Have you found a place that had a low profile claw mount in stock?

www.redwolfairsoft.com has from what I've seen on AR15.com a high quality metal low profile claw mount in stock. I ordered mine earlier this week and am waiting for it to get here...

That GSG-5 pistol is very cool.
