I carry my PM9 in my back pocket. I made a kydex wrap around holster for it. Fits perfect and you would never know I'm carrying. Quick to draw and BG would think I'm pulling out my wallet. I keep a spare mag in my front pocket.

I've looked at getting a IWB holster for it. I to have a crossbreed for the XD's but have not gotten serious on getting one for the Kahr as I just put the gun in my pocket and go. If I carry IWB i'll put the crossbreed on and carry one of the XD's.

It's generally accepted that carrying SOB can cause spinal injuries, should you fall and land on your back. I've never seen/read anything to ACTUALLY indicate this, but it's certainly a possibility.

I think SOB tends to have an awkward draw stroke. I think the CB Supertuck at around 3-4 o'clock will serve you well. The exact position for best concealment may vary from person to person.

I carry my PM45 strongside in a pancake holster or beltslide holster. I most often carry my PM45 in a pocket holster. Because of the potential of injury to myself or my pistol if I fall or get knocked on my butt, I've never advocated SOB carry. IMO It would be much easier for a desparado to snatch your pistol from a SOB holster.

Here is the homemade Kydex holster....

How we did it.

2 - plywood sheets about 12"x12"
2 - thick foam pads 12"x12"
1 - Kydex square ~ 10" (put gun on kydex marked and fliped for size plus some extra)
Clamps
Rivets
Heat gun
Dremel

It was very easy to make. Get a sheet of kydex, my friend bought a large sheet at a local store. Bought a few rivets to fit the thickness of the kydex folded over.

We put the kydex in the oven for about 10 minutes until it was plyable. Put the kydex down and laid the gun on with the slide in the center. Folded the kydex over the gun. Put the handgun on one board with a foam section. Put another foam and board on top and clamped it down. Left it clamped for about 5 minutes. Un-clamped it, pull out the firearm and let the kydex cool.

***NOTE*** Make sure to leave an empty magazine in the gun or the heat & pressure could squish the grip and deform the mag well.

After it cools, draw your cut out and cut it. Leave extra all around for adjustments. We used the heat gun to tweek the kydex and adjust it to make sure it would fit in a standard levi jeans pocket. Once it was cut to liking rivet and you are good to go.

The hook looking thing is a catch so the holster stays in the pocket when you draw. Works like a charm and was about $8 to make.
