I want a 12 ga pump - made in USA
I'm looking for a 12ga pump 3" with a 28" barrel. I would like to buy American. What brands/models are made in the USA? I'm having a hard time finding this info on the manufacturer sites.

Is the Remington 870 made somewhere else these days? My old 870 says, Made in USA on the barrel.
You could always try to find a nice old Winchester Model 12 or early Ithaca 37...probably the best pump-guns ever made in the USA. I love my M12s. - Brickboy240

I had an Ithaca model 37 and sold it. I have kicked myself ever since, but my savage is a great old gunas well tough as nails. Mossberg, Remington, Savage all made in USA.

I've been eyeing the 870 Express, but one guy I work with said he thought the Express models were made overseas because they were cheaper that the other models.

The 590 comes in a 28" barrel?
If it was me, and I wanted a 28" barrel, I'd get an 835. That way you can shoot up to 3 &1/2" shells.
