Tikka T3
I had my heart set on a Savage, but there is a used Tikka T3 available. I've read the only negative is that you can not hand load through the ejection port (removable mag)?

You will love the Tikka action...if you get the Savage...you will not like the Savage action.

My only complaint is that the mags for the Tikka run $65...I find that to be a bit expensive for a plastic part.

I noticed the mags were expensive.

I think it might make a nice Mother's day present for me. I'll see if it is still there tomorrow.

really? see i really like the action on both, the tikka super varminter in 308 and the savage 110fp in 308. i feel the tikka is the superior firearm, but not by much

As I understand it, you can load Tikkas through the ejection port. Not positive tho.
