Ehh,
The deals are out there. You just need to get lucky. My Norinco set me back $250, but came with 4 magazines and a hardshell case and was bought via private sale within the last year from a guy who said it was to big for him

I would say that is not all that good of a price also Classic arms has their "Excellent" grade (next grade down from New ) for 199 so I would offer at most 200, maybe not even that much |

Wanna cry? I got my unfired, in the box, 1952 Russian SKS at a gunshow back in 1991 for 75 dollars. They had tables of them at that price. Another 75 bucks bought a nice wooden crate, packed with 1000 rounds of fresh and very good Norinco made Chinese ammo. Oh...those were the days!
I don't know why some say the SKS in inaccurate. I have found that the SKS is more accurate than most AK clones I have ever shot. From the 50 and 100yd bench, all 4 of my SKSs will group as good or slightly better than the average Winchester 30-30. Now, its not a match rifle...but is FAR from terrible. They're also VERY reliable....you have ot work really hard to make one jam. A minty Norinco SKS like the one you're looking at, ought to be as accurate as any other decent SKS. My beater Romanian SKS is every bit as accurate as my mint Russian SKS. Ditto for my rattier 1963 made Vietnam bring-back Chinese military SKS. You wouldn't think that thing would shoot at all by looking at it, but it has a clean bore and puts the bullets where you want them..all day long. So yeah...grab an SKS...they're definately worth owning! - brickboy240

I have my eyes on a couple of norinco chinese sks s in a pawnshop here local, they want 239 for the nice one and 199 for the ratty one, both have aftermarket hi-cap mags and did not appear to have the original box with them which is a deal breaker to me.
it happens bro, I was just a little confused lol |
