How in the world did you find a Norinco SKS for $150?!?
Yugos around here are $200, and they are a "dime a dozen"!

Is there anyway to make them more comfortable for larger than Chinese-sized people?

Thats why I put a Tapco on my Russian 6 position adjustable stock I'm 6'5 and the wife is 5'5 we can both shoot it now.

I know this decision has been hard for you and I know that nobody has stepped up to give you a good reason not to buy an SKS. So, I'll do my best.

Don't buy an SKS because then you'll have to invest heavily in 7.62x39 ammo to feed the habit. You already have the ammo, you say? Well, ok then.

Don't buy an SKS because then you'll have to buy a bunch of accessories to go with it. You don't mind this, you say? Well, ok then.

Don't buy an SKS because you'll be feeding the disease.

Aw... who am I kidding? Buy the SKS! You know you want to. And, if you need any other incentive, here's mine.

I can remeber when I bought my first Chinese SKS for $89.00. Of course that was in 1992. I miss the good old days. That rifle was a lot of fun to shoot.
