Question for the Houston TX people

Have any of you guys been the PSC Range in Friendswood before. I'm moving to Seabrook and several shops recommended this place. My wife is getting me a membership there.

I shot a couple of vintage military rifle matches there in the mid 90s. Nice place, but a bit far for me to travel to all the time.

If you are going to be living close by...yes...its definately a very nice place to shoot and worth having a membership. The range help there was very well kept and helpful and ran great matches. Their clays course looked interesting but I never got to shoot it.

I live next to Kemah, Clear Lake, Seabrook area so it's probably 30-45 min from me. Which I've learned is good in Houston

Top Gun (off Chimney Rock & Richmond, behind the Darque Tan) is good. American Shooting Center (off Westheimer Parkway) is ok, but I wasn't thrilled.

I have a family membership at American Shooting Center on westheimer (me, bro, mom, dad). Its the closest range to me. I have some friends on NW side and if they go shooting I usually meet them up at Hot Wells. Not the prettiest range but its really cheap, and they charge per gun only. ASC is much more expensive, they charge per person, membership would be the best deal there.

we get together once a month and have some great shoots together...definetely stop by and say hi on our message boards.

As for the PSC place, several other people have recommended it, but I personally haven't been. I have been to Bayou Rifles and really like the place.

How about ranges near Kingwood? I'm moving there in late June. And good gun shops/gunsmiths that you all trust. Thanks in advance.
