Does anyone know anything about a Winchester model 70 XTR Sporter(270)? I got one as a gift quite a few years ago and haven't shot it much at all...shame on me. From what I remember, it shoots very well and was very accurate. I am looking for ya'll to give me some information as to quality, value, opinions (I think), etc.. Any information is appreciated.

I have a Model 70 .308 hand me down from my Dad that I still use for Deer and Elk. I love that gun....

Any idea on value? Not that I would even think about selling it, just want to know what I am looking at to replace it if something happens. It was given to me by my Grandfather in '92 (or some time around then). I'm horrible with dates.
