Walther P22 (Black)
I found a P22 (3.4 inch barrel, black) for sale, brand new, for 250+ tax. Ive shopped around and this seems to be the best price.
Is this a good price? TIA Pete

Well I broke down and ended up buying it. 265$ out the door from Gander Mountain. I'm going to the range tomorrw and went a bought 500 rounds for a a measly 12 bucks.

Hopefully it likes that ammo. It likes the high velocity ammo. So far CCI mini mags are the only ammo that is fail free. Even the Federal game-shok high velocity has trouble getting the slide to cycle completely.

Congrats
Have fun with it.
I shot mine straight out of the box when I first got it and had a few FTF & FTE during a session where I put about 300 rounds through it. Took it home, cleaned and lubed it thoroughly and haven't had any problems since. I clean it every time I shoot it but have been thinking that maybe I'll do an experiment and keep shooting w/o cleaning until I get another FTF or FTE to see how much it'll take. |
