I shoot Wolf in my carbine, it feeds a little better than the S&B that i also used. Cheapest ammo out there too for the carbine.

Good trade for a Ruger 10-22. you can always buy another 10-22, but they don't make M-1 carbines anymore...GI or commerical models.

The M-1 Carbine has to be the most fun military surplus rifle to shoot. Low recoil and very quiet. Mine is fairly accurate at 50-75 yards and its a good training rifle for weening kids off the 22 without scaring them with the recoil of a 30-30 or other larger centerfire rifles. My 9 year old daughter LOVES shooting the M-1 Carbine.

The bad thing about the Carbine is the cost of ammo. I am still working my way through a case of S&B but I know Wolf will be my next case purchase and even that is not cheap anymore.

Enjoy it...and remember to stick with the GI 15 round mags for the best feeding.

PS: My Carbine is a 1943 Rock-Ola that was re-worked for Korean War service. Bought it in great shape for 110 dollars in 1989.
