The thing is, that they will price match, but I don't know if you could find an advertised price at another place for something like that.

Cabela's gun prices in general are awful. I only buy ammo from them...I typically see a 10-15% markup in price over the local shops.

I like to use them for their large collection in one place to decide what I want, then I go buy it for less. Though my ruger cost the same at the local shop (well +20, but I got SS decocker variant, very happy about the decocker)

Sportsmans warehouse is the way to go IMO. They keep the guns more accessible, have more knowledgeable sellers. The stores are only 60% as big, and don't carry used guns, but the new guns are better priced, not the best prices but on the high side of reasonable, but still reasonable (540 for a glock or so hk p30 at 800 lowest online is 720, with transfers its about 40 higher than the best possible price)

If you want a mosin, I don't know a lot about them, but I know this Dunham's and Academy (thats what you have in AZ right?) the large sporting stores, where the guns aren't a large section have them for fairly inexpensive prices literally have seen mosins for 69 within th last year, sometimes they are as high as 119 for the cheapest one, and the longer barrelled variants usually 150. Those type of stores are your best bet for a mosin, the ones that sell baseball gloves and bats.

We need more laws to protect these three rights. Ban guns in schools, it obviously works.

I've got a couple Mosins and have learned (thanks to several of the forum members here) quite a bit about the stampings and variations inherent in the species. I was just shocked that the prices were so high at the "World's Foremost Outfitter" when I can go to my favorite AZ C&R store (J&G in Prescott) and have a great, hand-picked selection for under $100. It makes me wonder if the people setting the used gun prices are genuinely clueless or if they're just trolling for somebody who hasn't done their homework but has plenty of cash--I'm guessing the second choice.
