I have been tossing around the idea of getting a bolt gun and since I just built a longrange AR I figured it should be in 308.

After alot of research I decided on a Remington 700 Milspec.

Have any of you fired one or have any experience with them?

So far I have not read anything bad about them and I got a good price on an unfired one from a guy in PA.

I should have it sometime next week.

Did you buy it from PAFOA? Not a bad price on it. I have one that I had refinished because I'm not a fan of stainless on rifles.

Yes I got it from a guy on PAFOA.

I offered $850 shipped and he accepted the offer.

I can't wait.

I may have mine painted as well.

So how do you like it?

What stock is that?

Looks like an Accuracy International.

I like my 5R a lot. Shot a few ground hogs with it last year and I'm hoping to get even more with it this season.

The stock is an AICS 1.5 stage in OD. I really like the feel of the stock compared to the one that came with the rifle. Sad part was, the stock cost almost as much as the entire rifle. I went with the AICS over the MiMillan A5 because I like the feel of the thumbhole. I already owned an A3 stock on another rifle, so I thought I'd try out the AI.
