Operation Buckmark Complete!

Finally got the finishing touches put on my tack drivin' Buckmark!

Started with a standard Buckmark Camper. First thing I did was reverse the sear spring, aka "Heggisized" the trigger. Makes for a beautiful, light trigger pull. I don't have a gauge, but it feel like somewhere between 2 and 3 lbs. No cost upgrade! I then replaced the plastic sight base with the tactical Solutions rail with the integrated rear sight. I added the Burris Fastfire and I shot the pistol this way for a few months. After a while, I decided something was missing. The gun just didn't feel like a completed piece. The grips had to go! I put a bid for some $15 OD Green aluminum grips on eBay. As far as I know, Tactical Solutions and Hogue are the only ones making aluminum grips for these little guys. The grips arrived with no markings whatsoever, but I suspect they are TacSol grips. They're thinner than any other grips I've handled. They are just a lil' slippery because they are glossy, but that won't be a problem with the mighty rimfire. I didn't think my pistol looked right with the standard gold Browning trigger, so I polished off the gold plating, revealing a nicely machined aluminum trigger underneath.

One of these days I'm gonna quit buying these big boy toys and invest in a better still camera, but for now...

Looks sharp, although I'll admit: I expected pictures of a buckmark w/ an integrated can.

Might I suggest heading over to RimfireCentral.com - Hobby and Info Source For All Rimfire Caliber Ammo and Firearms? The folks over there are very helpful and knowledgable, and they should be able to diagnose your problem.
