Ruger SR9 owners - I'm curious...

I'm thinking about getting a Ruger SR9. How do you all feel about them? Do you use it for concealed carry? How well does it hide? Also, would it fit in a standard 4" 1911 holster?

I'd wait a little while or ensure you get a just built brand new one and not one that has been sitting on a shelf or it will have to go back to Ruger for repair...

Yeah, I read about the recall. I'll get a functioning one.

As with any new toys on the market I'd give it 6 months to a year before buying a "new" thing. I didn't get an XBOX360 for for over two years after it came out, and I'm glad I did.

I bought a SR9 a few weeks back and then found out about the recall, anyhow I have ran about 500 rounds through with no problems, its a very smooth shooting gun.
Called Ruger and they are sending out a box to ship back about mid-May was really impressed with their customer service.
Kinda disappointed about the recall issue but since I own several other Ruger guns I know they will get it right.
Hopefully they will address the issues and get the SR9 corrected...
