New Target Pistol range report
I picked up my new Ruger Mark III Competition Target Tuesday. Between nasty wind (60mph+ gusts) and a remodel project at work I didn't get a chance to shoot it till Saturday. I will say that field striping it is a bear. I ran about 500 rounds through it. Trigger is crisp but a little hard. I have a Volquartsen Accurizing Kit on order. Sunday I went out and and ran about 150 rounds and did some slow target work. About 1" groups at 10 yards offhand about 1/2" off a bad rest. I am happy. Next weekend (maybe during the week if I have time) I will shoot it against my High Standard target pistol.
