ive shot a CZ 75 and it was a good shooter, my buddy has a CZ52, and its good. the only thing is stock they have brittle fireing pin and will break when dry firering. they sell replacements that are more durable.

The EAA Witness is a good CZ clone. The Wonderfinish model is the only way to go, though, stay away from the poly framed ones.

CZ makes great guns. They're solid and accurate guns, I don't think can go wrong.

I have the CZ75 SP-01 Tactical, it is a fantastic gun, it is on an accuracy par with my PR-1 even with it's creepy trigger. I can put 17 of 18 shots on a paper plate from 25yds that is GREAT for MEEE lol. A bonus is that they feel almost identical to the XD in your hand. A HUGE minus is the price of their factory mags, bout like an HK $$$$$ but I bought another one anyway

I've owned a few CZ's and can say they are quality firearms. In the end, I didn't like how heavy they were for carrying purposes. CZUSA's CS is "so-so" I had an issue with a new P-01 that I bought. It took some time to resolve the issue.
If it was my money, I'd probably buy Steyr pistols over the CZ's for the fact that Steyr's are cheaper. |

I switched from an XD40 Tactial to a CZ75 SPO1 (9mm) for USPSA Production class last year, and then picked up a CZ Cadet (22lr).
I still carry two XDs (40 S&W) almost everyday, but I am looking for a CZ in 40S&W for everyday carry. |
