The CZ-75 is one of the best firearms in the world. It's a testament to show that price does not equal performance and quality. I've had a CZ-75BD (decocker model) that I purchased new in 2001; through countless rounds, it has NEVER had a jam.

Of course, the CZs are known for their legendary out-of-the-box accuracy, and the 75 is no exception. You can't go wrong with them. I always like to consider it "the steel Glock" due to the reliability I've experienced with it.

Come on... tell me this thing isn't sexy? See, ya can't do it!

The CZ75 is an excellent pistol.

It is extremely rare to hear negative comments on the CZ-75's.

It's not sexy, but I can only do that because I have the CZ perfection known as the SP-01

If it was my money, I'd probably buy Steyr pistols over the CZ's for the fact that Steyr's are cheaper.
The P-01 is lighter than a comparable XD

CZs are great pistols. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the CZ75 Compact, CZ 75 D Compact, and CZ 75 P-01 that I own.

I do agree that CZ must be one of the most underrated handguns out there. They look great and shoot even better. A 75 will be my next handgun purchase for sure!

I think what makes it so good (same with the 1911) is that it is built for battle. This isn't your "go out and have a fun time" gun, this is a hardcore battle pistol. Reliable, accurate, and damn fun to shoot. Buy it, you CAN'T go wrong with a CZ-75.

I like the BD, personally, because I like using a decocker instead of a safety. Really helps when a range cease-fire is called for that quick decock. And it's safe for hammer-down carry with it's firing pin block.

I used to have one of the earlier CZ-75s...one of the "pre-Bs" with the funky black paintjob-like finish. Great shooter, but I stupidly sold it to a friend that kept bugging me for it (at least I got a tidy sum for the thing). Luckily, I replaced it with my Belgian Beauty Hi-Power and still have one of the best 9mms in the world.

Yep, in my top 5 best hi-cap 9mms, the CZ-75 is definately on that list. This list is the Hi-Power, SIG P226, Beretta 92FS, Glock 17, and the CZ-75. There are other nice hi-cap 9mms but to me, these are consistently the best of the breed.

Accurate, feels good in the hand and very reliable. It loses a few points to the Hi-Power only because its trigger is not as crisp as the Hi-Power and the roll pins that hold the front sight in place tend to back out. Not a huge deal killer and some never experience the roll pin backouts. The CZ-75s feel like they should cost twice what they sell for. Like the Hi-Power and 92 Beretta, the CZ-75 is a very soft recoiling 9mm. totally pleasurable to shoot and never harsh or snappy at all.

For the money, the CZ-75 is still a total steal. I also think that the CZ-75 fullsize all steel 9mm is the best pistol that CZ makes.

If it apeals to you and you don't want to blow major cake on a Belgian Hi-Power, go for the CZ-75...its a great shooter.

I know I am just repeating what has already been said but... I LOVE MY P-01. It was the first handgun I bought and is still my favorite (although my xd45 is making it a tight race) It feels great in my hand, shoots super accurate, and in 4 years its never jammed. I cant say enough about my P-01. Oh yeah, I bought it brand new at a gun show for $375!!
