i have a remington 700BDL in .308, and the only thing i did was put a new scope on it when grandpa gave it to me. sighted it in one afternoon, put three rounds on the X, covered them with a nickel. i have zero issues with mine.

i really don't have any worst guns, i buy quality because it is so rare i can get a new gun i have to make a great purchase. however, the worst gun i ever fired was my ex-girlfriend's little .25, that thing put rounds everywhere except where i pointed it. never jammed on me but wouldn't hit the broadside of the barn. don't remember what brand it was. i advised her to get a new gun, especially living in an apartment complex in houston.(we weren't 'together' when i shot the thing')

I'd hate to say this but my Ruger MK II is not what I expected. It was my second hand gun (first was a S&W M686) and nothing but problems since. The feed ramp is too steep and FTF were common. Probabley every 25 rounds. Ruger CS said to send it to them but shipping a firearm is tricky in NJ. Sorry to all you Ruger fans out there.

Raven .25 auto. More effective when thrown at the BG.

Walther P22. I've never owned a handgun/rifle/shotgun/anything that's as picky about ammo as this thing. So far, the only ammunition I've been able to shoot with it is CCI Mini-mag. The rest won't even fire. Even the CCI regularly fails to feed (often ending bullet pointing up sticking out of the semi-closed slide.)

I'm pretty sure the feed issues are magazine related, but the slide seems to "stick" a bit if I don't let it slam closed from the fully open position, and in fact will sit at the half-racked position without closing. Second spring.

I've got *one* good magazine that'll work decently (only one feed issue per 50 shots or so), and the CCI mini-mags will generally go bang - but as far as I am concerned, this is terrible reliability. Not a maintenence issue, and I've heard many simular reports concerning the P22, some magazines, and ammunition pickiness in general.

Contrast that with my XD45c - never had a FTF, FTE, or any such problem. I've fed it everything from WWB to Blazer to Atlanta Arms reloads to +P SD loads. This is what I *expect* from a gun, and the P22 is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

the p22 is a picky SOB, but i use federal other than the ci's and it works a little better but not as much punch as the cci's, and the slide thing is something covered in waltherforums. ill try and dig it up later when i have more time and pm it to you unless someone else is interested

S&W model 10 bought in the early 80's. Right out of the box it wouldn't work after 5 shots. Smith fixed it, broke again after about the same number of shots.

I thought of another gun. My Glock Model 26. I could not get that gun to shoot a tight group to save my life. I figured it was me, so I had 5 other guys shoot it. Well none of us could shoot a tight group. So I tried to sell it - no one wanted to buy it. Go figure.

I don't like Glocks! I know a lot of folks do like Glocks and they do very well with them. Not me. I like my XD 45 ACP. It shoots well, very well, and it feeds everything I've put through it very well!
