Toss up between a Para Ord LDA CCW or a Charles Daly 1911 Govt model. With the edge going to the Para due to its price. Brokem MIM parts, flaking finish, made the trip back to Para twice. After receiving it the second time I traded straight accross the board for a Remington Rand 1911A1, Best 1911 I've ever owned. The Charles Daly needed help but after investing a couple of hundred in replacement parts it worked well enough to pass on.

Dan Wesson 357. Barely hit a wall with it. Plus it threw powder residue on your hands so bad, that after 6 rounds, you hands were black. Luckily, a guy I worked with wanted it so bad, that he paid me exactly what I paid for it brand new (tax included). I told him it didn't shoot very good, but he had to have it.

Either I haven't bought enough guns or I've made really good choices, cause everyone I've ever had I have had success with.
Although the Marlin 795 I have has one of the worst triggers ever.

Worst gun owned

Would have to be my first gun, S&W 4013, awful gun won a gun raffle at work for it. FTF alot no matter what ammo used. traded it in on my Bitone XD40SC back in 2006 when my Daughter was born, figured i needed a reliable firearm to protect the family with.

Agreed... but people swear by them just like their trusty 1911's. The shoot great only after you dump buckets of cash into them.

I had a DW .357. The only thing I didn't like about it was it so incredibly accurate. I know that sounds funny. It was my first revolver and I was reloading and I was trying to see how hollow points would expand in wet phone books and the darn DW put all the rounds in a neat little cloverleaf. Then I got bright and tried pointing it at different points on the phone book and wherever I pointed it, the round went right on target.

none of the firearms i own or owned where junk. some i just had to have then i got them shot them and didnt care to much for um lol.

I had a SS Mini 14 ranch, no problems with it though, i HAD TO HAVE IT but once i had it and shoot it a few times i wasnt impressed to much lol. never had a malfunction other than the barrel would get hot and the rounds would go all over the place!(not a real malfunction but..) it would eat anything you put in it though lol

i think it has its niche though just not on the bench shooting paper.
