Worst guns I've owned...

Norinco SKS. what a piece of worthless crap! It should be a crime to have built these things! Mine looked like a 12yr old was given a dremel with a dull bit and a chunk of bar stock and was told to have at it. Feed problems, fit and finish was deplorable, the wood was its best attribute.... and it sucked too!

Taurus PT140 Millenium. FTF's, FTE's, trigger felt like the sear was made of sand paper and I swear it had to be at least 50# of trigger pull over 6" of travel. Sold it after merely 50rnds of ammo through it. Never again.

Iver Johnson .22 revolver. Needed to carry a stick to eject the spend casings. Timing was off and you made sure your finger was nowhere near the forcing cone when you shot it. Pure junk. It's at the bottom of the Muddy Mo right now where it belongs.

It was a rust buckets and would not extract.

I had a colt mustang .380 pocketlite, SS. It sucked. Both inaccurate and rusty. Reliable feeding, but I could barely hit the target at 15 yards more than just putting shots on the paper. A pattern of 12". Not good enough for home defense or to carry even though it fit in a pocket. After I had it about two years with 50 shots fired in it the frame rusted (after it was cleaned and oiled it was put away) . Crap. I was glad to get rid of that "collectible".

Worst Gun Ever - Sig Mosquito hands down. It failed to do anything. I've got a Jennings .380 thats a better feeding, loading, firing, ejecting gun than that Sig was.

I try to not buy known problem guns. But you can probably get a lemon in anything.

My initial impression of the Beretta Bobcat was quite poor... *knock on wood* it seems to be broken in now and is 100 percent. I am hoping it stays reliable.

Worst gun I've ever owned is my XD40 Service. Because it's the only one that's ever had a malfunction.

I've shot worse but I've never owned worse.

I didn't own it, but....................................
Went to Vietnam in late 62, with an M-1 Carbine. In 63, in Pleiku, we had the chance to try out the then-new AR-15, then decide to switch or keep what we had. The AR came with NO cleaning kit, and only ONE magazine. Ammo came in cardboard boxes, just like commercial, but no printing on the box. Needless to say, I stayed with the carbine. Today, when thinking about getting one of those "Evil Assault Rifles", I'm leaning towards the AK.

Don't judge the modern AR against those first M-16s. I have shot a couple of old A-1s and I don't even consider them the same gun as a new AR.
