Went shooting today, I put about 20 rd's through my almost new condition CZ82 Mak and then the hammer quit staying back when fired, I field stripped it and cleaned it good but it won't stay back unless I cock it slowly, and sometimes not then, hammer also won't catch if pulled back by it's self, any ideas what went wrong?

is the trigger resetting all the way forward?? try holding the trigger forward while cocking the hammer to see if it cocks back. I;d shoot an email off to CZ-USA, maybe they can help you out. Also post here and see if they can help. If you need parts, CZ-83 parts fit, you can get them here or through CZ-USA.

I just got around to checking it out, when you cock the hammer it's forcing the trigger to come back with it. The hammer just won't stay back most of the time.
