CZ-83 or Ruger P-89
Well I have said it before but this time is real . I want one more toy for the rest of the year . I have got to buckle down and get stuff paid off . I am down to a pretty weird choice of 2 guns . I want one of the two :CZ-83 in .380 (used from 1980's) or a Ruger P-89 in 9mm used . I have a CZ-83 now and love it . And I have had a p-89 back in 1994 as my first pistol. So which would you get ? I have no real purpose for these , just to have and shoot . Both are reliable and i know where a great looking used CZ-83 is right now for $275 .

yeah it is higher . But that CZ-83 is nice . For a 22 yr old pistol , its shoots like a dream . But on the other hand the good ole Ruger P89 has a sort of sentimental value since it was my first handgun I bought when I turned 21 .

Where? Nevermind...not really small enough to fit in a pocket...not the easiest pistol on the eyes either.

one thing I know is tht the Ruger P-89 is built like a tank. Good for the long haul. On the other hand , the CZ is extremely reliable also and realiblity is just the same , HENCE the reason I picked these two guns .

I have heard good things about CZ, and I KNOW Ruger builds good guns, I imagine either choice you make will be a good one.

I don't own a Ruger P series (own a MkII) but I do own a CZ82. Ammo for the 9x18 Makarov is about $8.25 - $8.75/box of 50. Aim surplus sells both the gun and the ammo. Purchased mine there in like-new condition for $209 in 2007. Just saying because it was such a good deal. Love my 82, but not as a carry.
Either will be nice. If you have difficulty deciding, just buy both Ruger and CZ
