I have the .45 Match. The gun has been amazing. It is my favorite gun for just shooting. It hasn't failed once yet in about 400 rounds now. Accurate as all get out and the fit and finish is better than my CZ, inside and out. Just a fantastic gun for $489.00

Tanfos are GREAT guns. Here is a link to a subforum on BE that revolves around them:

Brian's Forums... Maku mozo! -> EAA / Tanfoglio Shop

As for me, I shoot an Open Tanfo which is reliable as dirt, way more accurate than I will ever be, and an absolute bargain compared to other Open platforms.

$489?

That's not bad at all.

Only one "minor problem" with Tanfoglio target guns, and that is not a real problem. They come with light recoil & hammer springs and should not be shooting any of the old Norma rounds, or hot reloads without new Wolf springs.

I believe the the CZ and Tanfoglio lines are the best bang for the buck, pun intended. They are great guns for the money and they feel super nice in the hand.

When I venture into OPEN, it will be with a Witness.
