Smith & Wesson 22A

I am considering buying one of these, I have wanted a .22 pistol for sometime and just never did it. I want one with a rail, so I can either mount a Halo sight or Red Dot. This seems to be an economical, reliable pistol, just wanting to know from some of you owners, what you think of them?

I have a 4in version I really like it. great trigger! I put a 30 dollar wal-mart BSA reddot its on of my favorite to shoot and dirt cheap to shoot.. its been 100% reliable with CCI mini mags but those cost 5bux a 100, most of the time I shoot Remington or Federal bulk and those get fail to fires and short strokes jams about 4 or 5 every 500.. but its a .22..

Great gun

I have the same type of setup as homer does in the above post.

It has been very reliable, but also cheap and fun to shoot.

Every once in awhile you might get a ftf, but as stated earlier, hey it's a .22!
