Got a brand new one in the box that has never been fired and I cannot decide if I want to keep it or not? Might just sell it!

Owned one for a while, but sold it off. They are a fun gun for what it is. I bought it for a truck gun, but after shooting to see how it patterned I went a different route. As for just playing around with it at the range it would be great.

Can't say I've owned one, but I did research it pretty well as I was planning on buying one a while back.

The general consensus is that it's a novelty gun. It's not accurate, and it serves basically no purpose beyond 10 yards...if that.

If you've got a few bones lying around that you can't spend on anything better, though, it would make for a fun gun to take out in the woods.

useless gun for all purposes except maybe snake control. It will fire the .45 LC but so with alot of other guns and they will do so alot more accurately.

We bought one for use at a condo in coastal Florida. Patterned it with different shells and ended up with #4 shot. Being a fairly small condo, there is not a shot that will be over 10 yards and most will be at 5-10 feet. We wanted something that was easy to shoot, quick to grab, and would NOT penetrate the walls/doors/80 year old neighbor, etc.

I agree that anything over 10-15 feet, I would not want to count on it, but for the range intended and the fact that it is in an enclosed area, it was exactly what I wanted. And even at 10 yards, I would not want to get a face full of #4 shot. I definitely will not call it a novelty, but a weapon made for a specific purpose. Is it for everyone? Nope. But would I hesitate to use it for home defense? Nope. I really like the idea of not having the over penetration inside my residence-> kids/dog/neighbors....

Gimmickry and a little payout for good reviews goes a long way.
The 410 revolver is not a new idea, so ask yourself why the companies that have made them stopped. Those who called it a novelty are correct.

IMO, if you want more than a bragging rights toy, buy something else.

ETA: I thought they were cool when they first came out, but have since decided that my money is better spent on other things.
