HK Fabarm FP6 SHOTGUN - have any knowledge?
just curious if anyone here may have any insight on the HK Fabarm FP6 Shotgun's ????
i've seen several different ones, to include one that had some carbon fiber finish on it. i guess i am unsure as to what the deal is with them and how reliable they may or may not be? are they still being made or are they non-existent as of late? please help me if you have any specific knowledge or insight on this one. thank you! |

When they came out, they never really caught on. This was presumably due to the price point (~$500 if I remember correctly), the combination of the price point and the fact that it was a pump action, and the fact that there was absolutely NO aftermarket support for them. Fabram made the shotgun and HK imported them under their name, just as they did the Benelli years earlier.
If you're an HK collector, I guess they're pretty cool. If you are looking for a shotgun for serious use, I would look elsewhere. If you break a part or decide you want to do some upgrades, you'll probably be SOL. |

that is basically what i've concluded as well with the limited amount of information i was able to ascertain when looking it up. they look nice but with the limited amount of accessories and beefing it up, i found myself shying away from it. so, after much research and many of the thoughts, opinions, advice, insights, and pictures, collected here on the forum, i just purchased the following this afternoon: ![]() it is a brand new Remington 870 Express 18" with the extended mag tube (7 shot), still in the box, never opened or fired, and it is being shipped out tomorrow to my FFL for the grand total of $280 shipped to my FFL. i think i landed a good deal on it. i will "tac" it out as i move along with it, and probably buy a longer barrel for those occasional turkey runs. it will be here soon. thank you again BORICUA9MM for your time!!!! |
