Also, now that you're the proud owner, you have to at least peak at the trigger mod.

What makes you think that JMB designed the Buckmark?

JMB died 11-26-1926

The Buckmark was first produced in 1985.

You think that Browning had the design sitting in a safe for 59 years before they built it?

Or you think that because it has the Browning name that JMB designed it?

Well if that's the case I have a car built by Henry Ford you might be interested it.

If you have a 1911 pistol, I highly recommend the Kimber 22 conversion kit. With some minor fitting, I installed one on my Colt Commander and it is the most accurate pistol I own. The Kimber conversion consists of an aluminum alloy slide, 22LR match barrel, recoil spring, and adjustable target sights. It uses a simple blow back design. I had to slightly enlarge the thumb safety notch on the Kimber slide for the Colt thumb safety to engage properly. I also tuned the Kimber's extractor. It only comes with one mag, but extras are readily available. The slide is designed to not lock back after the last shot. You can buy the Kimber conversion kit online since it is not a frame or full gun.

I have several other 22 conversion kits, but this one is the best. Conversion kits make good sense as trainers since they use the same trigger and controls as the full size gun. I save lots of money buy shooting 22LR.

22/45 is awesome, another one to think hard about is the Beretta Neo, I saw one of those at a gun show a few months back for $210.
