Looking for new target pistol
I want to quit shooting my High Standard HD Military all the time. So I am looking for a new target pistol. My HD that has been worked on (1.5 pound trigger, 7.5" Bull barrel, Grips). It is a tack driver and I have been shooting it for something like 40 years. I have it down to the Competition or the Target. The Competition looks good (all SS, Slab) but the target is cheaper. I plan on getting a Volquartsen trigger and grips. I want the best accuracy. Will the slab barrel be more accurate then the taper? Is there anything else that makes the Competition or the Target better? Is the Volquartsen the best trigger? I mostly shoot targets for fun anywhere from 10 to 100 yards.
