Fake Can for Walther p22?
I found this link on gunbroker: GunBroker.com guns: walther p22 fake can so close to the real thing (item: 95456137 ends: Mar-28-08 05:36:41 PM)
basically.. its a fake suppressor. Now let me say.. i KNOW this probably isn't a good idea to go showing to everyone at the range.. but has anyone heard of laws against this? I think it would be pretty cool for $hits and Giggles, probably would reduce the muzzle flip to almost nothing.. but.. is it worth it in terms of legality? |

i got one when i put my silencer on layaway just so i could get used to the weight up front and how the pistol handled with it.
i shot it at the range and no one said anything. it is a little lame ill admit that but at least i had a purpose for it, well atleast thats my justification |

There's nothing illegal about them. I made one for my Mac11. As long as it does not in any way reduce the noise signature of the gun, it's not actually a suppressor.

it does seem to me at least that it is a little bit quieter but i think that is only because the muzzle is further away from you so its just the percieved sound for the person shooting the gun. but its really not that much but i thought it was noticable but without ear plugs it still hurts nothing at all like a real can
