used FN Five-seveN 5.72

First off.
Found one in the local Tradin' Post for $250.
Listed as MUST SELL NO VA ID NEEDED!!! Sounds shady but im still interested in it. Primarily its odd caliber.

Secondly i asked a friend about the gun and he blah blah crap blah blah not a XD blah its ILLEGAL.
Called the Local Gun Shop, same answer. Is this true, i can seem to find any reliable info on this pistol. Thanks again!

While some of the ammo is illegal for civilian sales, unless you have some local law prohibiting its sale, the gun itself is not.

The ammo is expensive enough to prohibit our SWAT team from carrying these coupled with FN's sub-gun in the same caliber. From what I understand from a friend who owns one, the Five-seveN is accurate to about 75 yards. That's pretty good for a duty sized handgun.

Its also basiclly a 22 magnum ballistically. Especially true without the magic bullets that we are not cool enough to have. These guns have really tumbled in price since they were first introduced.

All that you can depend on from a 45 is that it will drill a .45 - .70 inch hole about 14 inches into someone. There will not be "energy dump", people will not fly backwards, and they will not necessarily fall as if they have been struck by lighting.

Do you mind giving the name and info of your local shop? I'd love to have one at that price. The caliber is weird so most don't want it.

Awesome!!!

Then it's just a matter of making the call and getting it before someone else does that's a darn good price for that gun. It really suprises me. I guess it's just the area. A lot of shops can't keep them in stock and they sell for $900 retail. I'm going to assume this is a used gun that was traded in since the ammo is almost non-existant and expensive.

They seem like a cool gun and the ammo is not all that expensive you have to order tho. I would like to pick one up for a toy.
