Nice pistol, do all the # Match Well now I know where I get my OCD from apparently it runs with my heritage. I cant tell you much about the value but if the finish is original the gun could bring a pretty penny. Check 1911.com or 1911.org for the real scoup.

Let's see my Dad gave $20 bucks for it in 1969 at the age of 19.
It's all original never refinished. I wished I knew what happened to my grandfathers .45
and tommy guns from WW2

Ok I'll give you $100 for it that is a 500% profit on the original investment.

nice try

Not selling, this one will go to my son one day.

the price range for these is 800-$1400

not bad considering in 1915 they cost US$18.50, about 500 Colt .45 was sold to the norweigan navy.

Wow...those are VERY sought after by 1911 collectors. Some very noteable gun writers and collectors actually say that you should not shoot a Norweigian 1911 because they are so rare.

I'd say that pistol is easliy worth 1500-2000 dollars maybe more on the market. Again...your call on whether or not to shoot it. If it was mine, I would buy a cheap RIA 1911 to shoot and leave that one in the safe as an investment. They'll only go up in value as time goes by.

Very cool and a very rare and sought after piece you have there....hang onto it!

Apparently most of the Norskie .45's that were brought into the country were in ratty condition and were refinished destroying most of there collector value. Yours however looks to be in original guise. Have it apraised you will be pleasantly suprised. If it has been refinished it turns a highly collector gun with a limited production run into a $4-$500 shooter. Check it over for Nazi proofs they add considerably to the collector value.
