not really but it did kinda feel like it anyways i was at my local gun shop and came up on a SIG p229 with 4 12 mags and 2 10 round mags all sig manufacture , the gun has nitesites but no box and it is the old style without the rail any ways its does show some wear and i figure with the mags and nitesites itll be around $550 at least right? thje guy said he'd take $399 out the door i dang near ripped my pocket open getting out my credit card. now i just gotta get a good holster and some ammo to go thru it.

If its an older Sig, it will digest anything you can stuff into it. I picked 2 of the older 229's up a few years ago for the same price you just mentioned. You found a great deal, hang onto it. If you call Sig with the serial number, they will give you a born on date.

Good price!

I shot a P229 40 with the DAK trigger about a year ago and was amazed at how smooth and easy it was to shoot.
