Yep...thats the holster. I have had a Speed Scabbard for the 225 for about 2 years now and still love it. Carries it high and tight but is fast to get to and is a very high quality holster in the mid price range. I have Speed Scabbards for my Beretta 96 and Glock 22 as well and have had similar luck with them. great customer service from DeSantis, too.
Another great holster (and they are made for the P225 and the XD...even though they do not list them) is the El Paso Saddlery "Street Combat" pancake holster. I have one of these for my 1911 and Hi-Power and this too is a great, comfy holster. Even the heavy 5" 1911 does not flop or shift around in the Street Combat holster. EP Saddlery makes VER nice stuff and you really have to phone them and ask, because they offer tons of versions and makes that are not on their website or in their catalogue. I found out about several of their models that are made for the XD that are not listed in either place. Check them out...EP Saddlery are great people to deal with and have been making high quality leather goods in Texas for over 100 years. Well I picked mine up a few days ago. $299 from CDNN and that was the cheaper grade pistol ($339 for 'like new')
I can't say enough how great of shape it is in. Literally I'd rate it at 97%. It has probably had a box of ammo through it and that's it. There are no "smiley faces" on the barrel yet and the serial #'s all match. All the springs are nice and tight. There is a ding on the front strap checkering, but I'm throwing on a hogue type rubber grip, so that solves that problem. I was ready to sandblast it and recoat it in Moly Resin, but it's basically out of the box new, so less work for me. I'd get some pics up later, right now it's in 40 pieces waiting for springs from Wolff to lighten up the trigger (the DA is literally over 20 pounds!!). I cleaned it and greased it since i already had it torn down to the guts. I guess I'll buy another from AIM for less money and do a Moly Resin on it. For this price, I can afford to have pistols stashed all over the place

Dan's charges a lot more than the others do for shipping. If you're looking for the best deal, you might call for a shipping quote from AIM and Dan's since they both list the P6 for $259

Thanks, didn't realize Dan's charged more for shipping. I guess AIM is the way to go.

Brasky, it's a Pachmayr or Hogue slip on grip with finger grooves. They are like $9 through PistolGear.com or Midway. They slip on and are atight fit that look like most other Hogue grips (and of the same material)

Grips are an issue. Basically, you have just a few options:
(1) Stock. Obviously. Hard plastic, not grippy. Checkering on surplus guns often marred. (2) Nill. Gorgeous, comfy, but paying 40% of the original pistol price on grips seems silly. (3) Pachmayr. No longer made, increasingly hard to find. Watch your local stores and gun shows for a set, but don't spend $120 for a set on eBay. (4) Eagle. Decent compromise. Not as nice as Nills but better than stock.
