If we read about your new Jennings/Bryco or even Kel-Tec (flame away) in that group we'll get worried.
Looks like forward progress from here.

I don't know if the P6/225 SIG is really backwards.

If you can hit with it and its reliable...its not antiquated, if you ask me.

You didn't hit a sore spot and I'm not upset with you. I don't really know who is to blame for the overall pricey fees but it is what is in this area. Trust me, if it was only as easy as finding a cheaper dealer I would. On a side note I figured I would call my dealer to check and see if they had or could get a P6 and he said there are no more in the country and that Century Arms is handling the next batch of imports. He also said the price will be in the low to mid 3s and that they will be certified (whatever that means) through Sig. He got his info from a Sig rep although what he told me may or may not be 100 percent truthful.

Maybe we can talk Mark into making a Crossbreed Supertuck.

I meant backward in a chronological sense, not in a quality/style/excellence sense. I'm definitely happy with my firearm choices...just slightly amused by the increasingly "vintage" flavor of my collection.

Next on the docket is an AR lower...so I don't know what direction you'd call that.

I think he meant certified as in there CPO guns. Where they go through law enforcement trade-ins and check them out. Personally, I don't believe it, I think AIM is still taking pre-orders for the next batch. I will have to see what the importer was for mine tonight.

Ok, unless these all sell out by 3/22/08, I'm in business. Picked up a bit of overtime so I'm good.

Anybody have this IN STOCK and not on back order?

hey zac that looks mint, where did you get yours from, did you pay premium for the nicer condition or was this the standard $259 and you lucked out.

I ordered mine from centerfire about feb 26th or so, should be here any day. I hope mine is as nice as yours.

Wow...that one is really nice. Nearly new!

Mine has some honest holster wear, but the internals look like yours. Carried alot...shot very little. I can live with that.

Man...if I did not already have a P225, I'd be ordering one of those. That is a total steal for a pistol of that quality.

Wait until you shoot it...yeah...you too will understand how some of us can be so enamoured of an 8-shot 9mm that is 25 years old. You might find the d/a trigger a bit hard, but a spring replacement will lighten and smooth that out really well.

Some people also say theirs does not feed hollowpoints real well but mine fed every HP I threw in it. I ran Hydra-Shoks, 147gr Winny XTPs and 115gr Silvertips in the Swiss P225 and no stoppages at all. The feed ramp can be polished or a replacement P225 barrel is not expensive and drops right in.

Let us know what you think when you shoot it.

PS: I still say the DeSantis Speed Scabbard is a great way to tote the P225/P6...check it out.
