ignore the dates, I never set the date and time on the camera. I am hoping to get to go to the shooting range tomorrow and I will post a report,

AIM Surplus said they would ship in mid March, however I picked them up yesterday!

Under Promise and Over Deliver = good business and a repeat customer.

The second and third pics are more indicative of wear.

Third pic is just to show the size relative to my M&P.40.

The DA trigger is long and heavy, heavier than my 642 J frame (although the trigger reach of the 642 is much shorter, more like clenching your fist than flexing your finger).

The supplied holsters are designed for 4 things:

1.Retention
2.Retention
3.Retention
4.To wear the finish of the pistol with exposed rivets.

They will be OK for transporting to and from the range until the guns are refinished.

If you need a FFL in Houston, I recommend Madecov. Great guy. After I get everything on my wish list, I'll suggest to him that he raise his fees.

If you are thinking of buying I would get on the list for March now and ask for the handpick option it is only $10 and my gun looks way better than my friend who waited a few weeks after and he asked for hand picked too. I couldnt be happier with mine.

Is anyone going to do the $129+Shipping SIG Service Plan (night sights, springs, etc.)?

Im not, mine looks like the officer hardly ever unholstered it. The internals look great, I am debating buying a spring kit for it or just a new mainspring.

I'm expecting mine in mid-March (from AIM) and am definitely thinking about sending it to SIG for the maint. pkg - only $129 and that includes new night sights. Seems like a decent deal.

Has anyone ordered their new spring sets yet?
I'm wondering what to order and maybe a guide on reinstalling.
Sig thing looks nice but pricey and I don't need night sights.
That first pull is seriously like 25+lbs.
Fugly.
