what other Sig fits holsters like the 225/P-6?
what other Sig fits holsters like the 225/P-6? I am thinking that a Sig 220 has the same angles and all to fit the same type holsters. The holster I want lets the end of the slide/barrel hang out the end so the length wouldnt matter . Any of you guys know? Its is sometimkes hard to find holsters for the 225/ P-6 but i once heard that the Sig 220 is really like a compact 225 with a smaller caliber.

The P228 and maybe a non-rail P229 ought to fit any holster for the p225/P6. The only real dimensional differences on these is the wider hi-cap frames, really. The railed P229s probably will not fit a holster made for the P225.
(BTW, CDNN had some really nice used non-rail P229s in 40SW for sale not too long ago. They wanted about 400 for them...not a bad price) I tried my older non-rail P220 in the Speed Scabbard made for my Swiss P225 and yes, it fits, but the muzzle end is very exposed...almost like a Yaqui Slide. No biggie...I have an El Paso Saddlery "Tortilla" holster for the P220 (which also fits any P226). - brickboy240

"BTW guys, any holster that is designed for the 220 or 226 will fit the 225. The slide is the same, only the receiver is diff...there's a TON of holster choices out there." |

aim, dans, or centerfire all had them last i heard, i oredered mine for $259 in feb from centerfire, got back ordered and arrived in about 1 month.
dans has nicer finish units for $30 premium, you might look into that if a well worn aged finish is a major bummer for you, his look hella black and dark. I am pleased with my centerfire purchased unit, looks kinda dry, kinda thin bluing. but for $259 i dont care i dig the gun allot. |
