According to one report, when the Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani visited Moscow in October 2001 he requested a test firing of the Sunburn, which the Russians were only too happy to arrange. So impressed was Ali Shamkhani that he placed an order for an undisclosed number of the missiles.

SunBurn has been around since 1984 and China has had them since 1986...The SS-N-26 YAKHONT is no joke and is a tad lighter and has almost double the range....satellite guided, multi-role Russian death....

Russian company NPO Mashinostroeniya has demonstrated an advanced supersonic Yakhont missile with a solid rocket booster and a liquid-fuel ramjet with a range of over 200km to replace the Sunburn in air and surface-launch variants.

Brahma version is slightly more advanced, they are both formidable but defeatable due to their flight profile. The crime is that the U.S. Navy has only JUST recently acquired Mach-2 target missiles to test our fleet defense against Sunburn.
