Ok, I did not care for S&Ws Clinton "cave in" either, but what about buying a S&W that was made long before that deal?
Too bad...you'll be passing on some of the best d/a revolvers made. I'd never sell my mid-70s Model 19 Smith 357. I still say that if one wants a great 22 revolver that is deadly accurate and affordable and trouble free...the Ruger Single Six is very hard to beat.

Thanks for the help guys. If I buy one it will be the Taurus 94. I'm debating or whether to get a HK or the Glock and the Taurus revolver.

If you are trying to pick between an HK and a GLOCK, no brainer, get an HK. No contest.

HA! That sounds like a response from an uneducated person. The HK is a quality piece, no doubt about that. However for all intent and purposes the G26 is a better gun I think. Its smaller, cheaper, better trigger, just as accurate, more readily available parts, dead nuts reliable, and comes with better customer service. I could also get a plinking revolver.Only problem is its a Glock and shaped like a block.... decisions decisions.

You'll notice that 99% of the time that people say that GLOCK is just as good a gun as an HK, yourself included, one of the first things mentioned is "it's cheaper". Sorry, that doesn't make it a better gun. Might make it a better gun for your buck, but I guarandamntee you, if HKs and GLOCKs cost the same, HK would outsell GLOCK by an enormous margain. And the thing that makes me laugh so very very hard is that these GLOCKophiles talk about how readily available the parts are for their guns, while saying on the other hand that they never need fixing. Know why HK parts are hard to buy? Not a lot of demand. HKs don't break all that much. There's no perfect gun or gunmaker, not HK, not Sig (I think Sig is the best pistol maker in the world), not GLOCK. |

Lets back up a minute. I don't know if you realize I'm only comparing 2 guns, the G26 and the P2000SK. Overall what you're saying is true, but from what I've seen about these two guns the G26 is the better choice. High price does not equal a better gun. Case in point would be the Bersa vs Walther. While the Walther may look better the Bersa is more reliable and would bite you. When I said parts I didn't mean replacement parts. Try finding night sights for a P2000SK.
