well as much as i liked my Kahr cw 40 i had to let it go and decided to get the Smith & Wesson M&P 40

I just thought i have extra 9rounds (15rounds/mag) instead of 6 in my kahr..The best part S & W is running a promo up to jan 31, buy a brand new M&P and you will get $50 + 2 mags through the mail

Hi guys i was able to try out my MP40 today, 100rounds of winchester white box and 50rounds of remington JHPs, all shot was at 15yds, nothing fancy just slow fire becs i'm trying to get use to the trigger and what not.
My first impression was "dang this thing is easy to shoot" Its a lot like the XDs that i owned and shot before have to get use to that little slack of the trigger( I usually shoot 1911s) , recoil is surpsingly not bad just like any pistol i shot (40cal is usually snappier than 45acp imho). Sights are very easy to align..And yes I did not have a single problem, no issues with the mag release thingy, after each mag i just slapped the next mag and it goes to battery ready to fire again..here are my targets, the shoot and see was my first 50rounds or so of mix FMJs and JHPs and the paper plate was my last target, i got a little carried away and went to a smaller target

so far I am loving it!!just wish ammo is not too expensive..

I will probably get the 45acp today at budsgunshop.com for $469 so i can get the $50 rebate..it will be 419 after every thing is said and done...I just have to have it..

What range is the serial #? Wondered how far along they are with the mag drop issue that has kept me away from them.

Vikz your killin' me! Man, I handled the 45 MP yesterday at the range. It's a must have. I hated the thumb safety though. I need to find one without it. I also want the FDE frame. My MP9 kinda makes me not wanna shoot my Glock anymore.
