Good News M&P fans!

From: My main man Grant, at G&R tactical.

We just received our 2008 S&W price sheets and it has some new M&P models in it along with new pricing on their mags. Here is are some of the things we will see new from S&W this year.

C4
  1. Compact 45 with and without a thumb safety.
  2. Mid-size (4" slide) 45 with and without a thumb safety.
  3. 5" 9mm M&P
  4. M&P Mag prices will most likely drop down to the $22-$25 dollar range!
Finally, those turdz dropped the mag prices!
Mid size .45 WOOT!

I hope they release that 5" 9x19. That is my next gun and I have the money in hand.

As for the mag prices, if they drop the price before the distributor burn through the current stock, it will be anarchy. If you stick distributors with product, they have fewer dollars to spend on new product. If they drop the mag price, I am guessing it will be a few months.

Is the .45 compact the same size as the 9 and .40 compact?
I just bought a .40c. I might ahve gotten a .45 if it is same size.
Wouldn't that be like the smallest shortest .45 out there?
I kind of wanted Glock 30 for the .45 but it was pretty much the same length as a 23.

I read a thread on that. SW changed the slide stop cut out some time ago to address the issue. The guy had over 20k rounds before his cracked. Smith replaced the slide....lifetime warranty.
