H&K USP in OD Green.........

Has anybody seen a H&K USP in OD Green in person or in a picture? If so, what is your opinion of it? I can't seem to find a pic of any and was curious as to what they look like.

They look pretty sweet. The OD green is only made in the .45 cal though I think, and maybe .40, but definitely not 9mm.

I thought for sure they came in .40cal. Oh well, I'm wrong most of the time anyway.

OK.....I looked at H&Ks website but they only show the all black models. Unless I was somehow overlooking the ODs and the Desert or whatever they call it.

I've seen a few at gun shows. I like that OD Green a lot better than Glock's "OD Green".

They may have discontinued them. You can find them on GunBroker from time to time.

I've never seen anything other than black/black in the Compact Tactical. I believe that pistol came out AFTER HK realized that the colored frames were a risky proposition for civilian consumption. Think about it. You have a bunch of different part numbers for a gun that is exactly the same except for pigmentation on the grips, yet some colors will sell (tan and OD), and others just sit there (grey).

When HK came out with their "Urban Grey" or whatever they wanna call it, it was hideous (to me at least). It looked a lot more like baby blue than a grey hue. The tan and OD green I would buy, the grey just sucks. HK soon found out that their baby blue/urban grey abortion of a color would not be so popular. Distributors were liquidating these a little over a year ago, but I only remember some Compacts and USP45f models. I gladly paid $100 more for a straight black 45f! It's kind of a shame, really. If HK didn't do the stupid grey, they probably would have been pleased with the success of the tan and OD models, and this may be a option on current pistols.

Grayby Blue? NOOOOOOOOO!
