When we are in the filty muck of the rice paddys and the Browning Golds and 1100s are jamming, the old 303 Beretta keeps slugging along.

I'd highly reccommend the newer Beretta autoloaders. We own several Beretta shotguns and their shottys are top shelf.

Unless you're going to go all out for a Benelli Black Eagle, the Beretta is a good second choice. I would never own a Browning Gold or 11-87 Remmy.

NEVER EVER EVER buy a Mossberg auto shotgun JUNK,JUNK,JUNK. The Remington 11/87 or Beretta 390 with the plastic stocks that WallMart carries are probably the 2 best choices.

You're crazy. My FIL loves his 935; uses it a lot. Never a problem.

My 9200 see personal experience, ripped hulls to shreads, Mossberg took it back twice before I ditched it at a loss at a gunshow. Forever Junk in my book.

How much does walmart typically sell these guns for? I'd have to drive outside Atlanta to find a walmart that sells guns to find out for myself.

Thanks

The Beretta 391 in my old 303 with a more simple gas system. Great shotgun. Handsome, well made and very reliable. Extra chokes are a breeze to get from Beretta or Briley and the gun will shoot everything from the lightest skeet loads to the 3 inch magnum steel goose loads or turkey loads with ease.

I am a huge fan of Beretta autoloading shottys. If I ever find a deal on a used 20 gauge version of my 303...I am buying that thing!

I'm also a big fan of the Beretta's, I've had 3 390's and 1 ONYX sporting O/U they have all the reliability of the 1100/11-87 series without relying on a rubber O-ring for reliable function plus are at least a pound lighter and fit me better than any other shotgun without being custom fitted.

He has been looking at some expensive berretas xtrema 2 and some benellis. But i think there alittle to much.

He said bass pro shop had a remington for $629 onsale awhile back which sounds really good.

Price range is otd $800

Thanks
A couple of good all around shotguns are the Remington 11-87 and if you have the funds you might look at the Benelli Super Black Eagle II.

Both are great all around shotguns and can shoot everything up to 3 1/2's. If you don't need to shoot 3 1/2's then you can also look at the Remington 1100 which you can find used in the $300-$450 range. Cheap.

All of these are fine shotguns.

Beretta 391 is nice, especially with the wood stock. Or if you can find a Benelli M1. My personal favorite though would be to find a good used Browning A5.
