AMD-65 owners?

i was thinking about picking one of these up any one have this rifle that can give me some feedback?

It's basically the best AK you can buy off the rack. They go for anywhere between 500 and 700 depending on various years and accessories. I doubt you'd be disappointed with the Hungarian Beast

Where are you buying them?? $400-$500 gun...unless you go to a 'custom' builder. they are great guns, but I wouldn't call the best by a long shot. If you are into playing dress-up with your AKs (like AR guys) this isn't the gun for you. Furniture specific and you cannot change the folding stock easily. You can however make a standard AK look like the AMD-63....although I did flip the front grip around because it was uncomfortable....one of my Bulgarian AKS-74s with AMD hand guard and plastic grips and a Saiga gas tube...the best part is that its 5,45x39.5...
